The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . MAYBE WE WON'T (Silver Harbor, #3) . . . Silver Harbor had much to share with the world. With this installment we get Deirdra de Messiéres. In the first we got baby sister Abby with Aiden an outsider and the introduction of a sister neither daughter of the de Messiéres knew about. Then in the second installment we get the unknown sister, Cait with hometown boy Brant. Now, we get to see more of the tough girl, workaholic, protector of her sisters, no nonsense Deirdra.
Deirdra came back home to be with her family only as a temporary fix to the disappointment she felt over losing a promotion she thought should have been hers. While back at home she sees all the the things she had been missing. The connections that made home home. She missed the little things that made her sisters relationships the glue. She did not miss the hippy boy that was now in the know of her family and friends. She did not miss Dolly putting her nose in places it should not go. She missed the clear way life should go and the order it should be in.
Jagger was a different kind of man. He was free. He was wise. He was him. Open, kind, smart, funny, sexy, and young. What was it about him that really rubbed Deirdra the wrong way. Or was it the right way and she just was too stubborn to realize it.
