Charity used to be a Registered Nurse in
California, and though she doesn't use her two degrees in the field anymore,
they have helped her with her real passion- writing. She happily writes the day
away using her in depth Anatomy, Physiology and Psych background to make her
death scenes more real and her killers more... colorful. But it's not all about
the blood, because more than anything she loves hot romance. Her heroine is
kick-ass and her men are all the dangerous and gorgeous beasts you love to
hate.
Her style is beautifully gruesome and
inspired by Interview With The Vampire, Buffy, and True Blood. She lives in the
beautiful university city of Columbia, MO with her incredible husband and three
girls, and loves yoga almost as much as living and writing in her own fantasy
world.

1. How would you describe your writing style? My writing style is darkness mixed with beauty. I think dark themes can be very beautiful and my imagery takes on that life. Oh, and also psychopath humor. That’s a huge part of my writing.
2. Do you feel writing is an ingrained process or does it just flow naturally? There’s a lot of flowing naturally mixed with tons of learning process. No one can just pick up the pen one day and write a best seller. It takes so much trial and error, skill and failure to write a book. Years in the making. But I love it and am very happy with how it’s going. I can write several stories a year now, which I never thought possible. I have shed many tears in frustration, had terrible disappointments with marketing campaigns and quit life for a time after a bad review lol. It’s been a trying journey but a most wonderful adventure and I’m so glad I stuck with it.
3. Can you share your next creative project? Right now I’m working on a dark erotica about a girl who never got over her first love in high school. He was involved in the dark arts and something horrible possessed his body, but instead of killing her like the blood moon ritual required, the demon inside took the wheel and saved her. But why did this frightening entity fall in love with a human? She meets her first love again 5 years down the line and unravels the mystery of her terrifying past. I’m about to send it to the editor now and my fourth dark erotica will be published this summer, yay : )
