However, when a murder investigation touches his personal life, it invades Trin’s as well, leaving him scrambling to make sure the woman he’s fast falling for is protected.

Adults that have lived life and have more living to do find a chance to make their lives just a bit more. Not saying that they go into the romance quickly or quitely. Roadkill (Bodhi) has been around for a few books here and there. We see him get his chance at a forever love with a woman that is slightly older and with a child. Katrina is back and things get off to an interesting start. Her son finds just a bit of trouble and mama finds herself a story that needs to investigating.

I look forward to each new story that Freya Barker creates in each of her series. I love more that they are adult romance with real world behind it all.
