Rye could feel something was not right with his upcoming wedding. He just did not want to take the steps needed to end it. It too the observation of his brother and soon-to-be sister-in-law to up the game and make things real in a very public way.

Now with all that behind him he moves on with his day from hell and takes a much needed break from it all. He was not expecting that a laugh could change the rest of his world.

Amy was sent to do a job. A job that was derailed by a storm and the person she was sent for not being where he was supposed to be. Add on top of all that, the loss of her luggage and a sexy glimpse from her past or her future. That all depended on how she wanted to look at things. I had fun seeing what Amy and Rye got up to in the islands. The story was flowing and added another layer to the adoption of a previous character.

I enjoyed Lisa Beacom voice. I loved her pitches, tone change, inflection and just all around. I found home with her voice and this story.

Stacy took an early retirement from law enforcement after over fifteen years of service in 2016, with her last three years in investigations and crime scene investigation to write full time. Stacy resides in southeastern Pennsylvania with her husband, who works in law enforcement, and her teen daughter. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of Nebraska, I worked as an actor on stage and on the radio over the last 20 years.
