The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . COURTING MOON (Blood Passion Saga, #1) . . . Quick thoughts . . . lovers of vampire theme romances would find this one interesting. There are differences of opinions on how the humankind and the vampryekind should or could interact. The romance is palpable. There are bands put in place and a price to pay for doing the forbidden. Courting Moon was a romance filled with some drama between races, a bit of mystery/suspense, passion never know by either, and romance that will change the direction of this new world.

The romance was between two individual from two very different classes. Classes that should not have that kind of contact. There was no room for love. There was no room for passion. There was only one way and that was the way that was dictated to them. Kyra and Sebastian find that they never felt the kind of emotions that they were feeling. There was something elemental, yet soul stirring about the emotional connections that were made between the two of them. The sacrifices that they were willing to make just for that chance at that something that had never before happened. Or was that true.

I was drawn in and wrapped up in the opposite sides, the Council and the Coven. Krya had a lot to come to terms with in her young life. This first person POV was told from Krya’s aspect. She tackled real world impacts on her small family. Seeing things from her viewpoint allowed for further insight into what was going on with her. This allowed for new ways to see the roles of the various races living together and when things cross between and beyond those lines.

I have to say that I have had the pleasure of featuring Adom Sample on my blog four previous times over the last three and half years. He has not disappointed with his works. This would the first time that I have had the pleasure of sampling his audio works. This time it was done a little different than my previous audiobooks. This one was done via youTube. I loved it. I had a visual and the audio to go with it. I also found that all the books of this series was available via this media. I took a bold step and started with the prequel to this one with Kyra and Sebastian. That gave a little something extra in on their relationship. I was excited to move on to book one, even though I had read it. Audio brings a book to life and the narrator did a good job. You feel the struggles, pains, confusion, love, elation, and more of Kyra.
