The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . MISTLETOE HOPES (Kisses Under the Mistletoe, #1) . . . First in this holiday series by various authors and a author new to me. I did enjoy the story. I found the angle delightful. I found it fit in with the holiday season just nicely. There were good characters and even the ones you did not want to like had a drawing quality as it pertained to the story. The fact that Tess was the older caring sister got her pulled in to many a situations. This year it gave a her a lot more than she would have bargained would have happened.
Alyssa Drake introduced us to the holidays with her new characters and the life of cowboys in the winter. I loved meeting Weston and his family and Tess with her sister were just a hoot. There was laughs with a bit of drama. There handsy guest. Sexy cowboys. Trouble making ex. A crack, a fall, a fire, and chemistry.
Mistletoe Hopes was a nice afternoon read. It took you out of your day and gave you something different to focus on for a few hours.
