The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . KNOWING NICHELLE (Beckley's Daughters Romance, #3) . . . First off this was not my first book of the series, but in a way it was. I saw this book and wanted to read it, but then found it was a third in a series, so being me and not wanting to be in on the ending or in the middle. I went and read each of the two prior books. I wanted some background before I hit Beckley and Knowing Nichelle. I did get that and then some. I found that each of the prior reads had characters that you could relate to, become friends with, wonder why you were friends, love like family, argue with, laugh with, and so much more. Those things were what allowed for me to jump right in the Knowing Nichelle and find many of the same things in Nichelle's story.
I enjoyed the small community. The simple life. The time to wind down. The intricacies of the characters. The wealth of character and their various interaction had me turning page after page. I have to say the lawyers are not the top of the line for me either but they all have their place and the constant bashing or at times degrading of them was a bit much for me, but it did not stop my reading. Meeting Nichelle and Buck was just enough to open that door to another place. From there things just took off in various direction and gave me a read that I enjoyed. I could empathize with both Buck and Nichelle. I could find a reason to want to slap them both at some point in the story and yet at the same time to give them hugs, pats, and encouragement.
There were a few things that I did not like how they were addressed or handled, but that the nature of fiction. It not me putting pen to paper it another and that was the vision presented. I still enjoyed it no matter the things not liked. It was a solid read that gave what it was intended to do. A story of love, change, life, simplicity, choices, forgiveness, and new direction.
BLURB
She’s just met the man of her dreams…but he’s not who he said he was. Neither is she. Until they get a second chance to make a first impression.
Is he a sophisticated big-city lawyer, or an easygoing small-town woodworker? And if she’s not a career-driven high-powered attorney, then who is she? Hiding behind their masks is second nature until circumstances force them to see beneath the surface and realize just how alike—and in love—they really are.
He’s only got one rule: no lawyers. She’s a lawyer.
Burned by experience, Buck’s got a rule for a reason. After walking away from a lucrative legal position, he found his peace in Beckley. Life on the farm is simple, and his woodworking business is thriving. He’s not interested in trading his work boots for wingtips and rejoining the rat race. So what if she’s the most compelling woman he’s ever met?
She’s only got one requirement: no a**holes. He’s an a**hole.
After a disastrous encounter in a trendy bar, Nichelle’s convinced that he’s an over-muscled a**hole. She’s got a sleek car, luxurious condo, and elegant designer clothes. Family comes first, and her legal career is on the fastest track. She’s never met a problem she couldn’t solve on her own. So what if he can see beneath her carefully constructed façade?
They’re perfect together. They just don’t know it yet.

Author Info
Tinsley Sellers grew up in Chicago, spending her summers with her grandparents in a tiny town a lot like Beckley, Michigan. Life took her to Arizona, Washington, and Idaho before she finally found her home in Arkansas. She is married to an amazing, supportive (and handsome!) man, with whom she has rescued three dogs and two cats. When she’s not writing, she teaches physics and engineering at the local university. When she’s not writing or teaching, she’s probably trying new recipes. She enjoys fast cars, loud music, fine whisky, and big books. In no particular order.
Thanks for the review. I was wondering about this book.
