Though it ends on a cliffhanger, you have enough of the story to find that you love and don't completely understand both the out of place Alpha Prince, Kardos and the rare Omega, Shaya. If you have not visited this world before you will find it filled with rich details and a layer of hierarchy that in itself is a story. The alpha is not the top dog. There are complexities to this world. If you have the time and inclination I would say go to the very beginning and watch the world unfold. If you just want to see what you are getting into jump right in. This was a good read that had you wanting more. The characters, the setting, the storyline, the world build around them all.
