Those that have read Nissenson's previous series with Splendor would remember Dr. Dreamboat/Jordan. Aubrey single, hardworking and she has a hidden past even she don't know about. This was a new direction for an anticipated character. The romance was sweet and determined. The written and characters strong and consuming. I enjoyed this one very much. I had fun and some laughs getting to know Aubrey and Jordan as a couple. This was another romance you will enjoy from beginning to the end. I found that I was wanting to know more about them both. I would say that you will find a few surprises, but that does not detract from the story. This will become a go-to-read again.

But as their relationship deepens, Aubrey has no idea that becoming involved with Jordan will lead to a startling discovery about her own past, and cause her to question his true feelings for her.
Janet is a lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, and currently resides on the northern California coast with her husband Steve and Golden Retriever Max. She worked for more than two decades in the financial services industry before turning her focus to producing running events. She is a former long-distance runner, current avid yoga practitioner, is addicted to Pinterest, likes to travel and read.
