How would you
describe your style of writing to someone that has never read your work?
Mostly gothic horror with some urban fantasy thrown in.
What are some of
your writing/publishing goals for this year? To finish
writing the fifth book in the Immortal War “Trilogy” and to dive back into
writing the third book of the Metatron Mysteries.
Do you feel that
writing is an ingrained process or just something that flows naturally for you?
Some days it’s a natural flow, other days it’s not quite so easy. On those days
I need to go do something else or write something else, so that the ideas think
I’m ignoring them and they come out of hiding.
Do you have a
character that you have been working on for a long time that still isn't quite
ready, but fills you with excitement to work on the story?
I’m currently working on that character. She’s a wildcard, and has seen a good
amount of bad things in her time. While writing this fifth book of the Immortal
War series, she has more than once placed a fingertip against my forehead and
said, “Hold up, we’re not going to talk about that yet.”
Can you share you
next creative project(s)? If yes, can you give a few details?
The fifth book in the Immortal War series, which will be
titled A God in a House of Crosses. We’ll get to see more of a character named
Lily, who popped up in Scylla and has made guest appearances in the Metatron
Mysteries as well.
