BROADWAY (Broadway, #2) . . . I did not read book one of this series. I did not know there
was a book one or that even this was part of a series. I saw the cover and
thought it was cute. Read the blurb and thought that would be a good book to
read and take me on a trip. Maris was the woman under the cover and she did not
disappoint me. I loved her from the very beginning. She was strong and
independent to a point. She accepted the shoulders of her best friend and her
sister. She knew her limitations and she knew her dreams.
Maris was a true woman. She had a dreamed. Worked on chasing it but worked on the side to make the rest of her life happen. She had dates, Zack, Kyle, and Trevor. She was surrounded by love and support. I found getting to know Maris to be delightful. She had a full plate with life happening all around her.
The read was fun and moving. The pacing was just right to keep things progressing forward. There were a lot of things going on here and I enjoyed it. Period. I would like to head backwards and read more of Maris before Broadway.
