We are joining author T. J. London in celebrating the release of the full cast narration of MAN OF WAR. Narrated by Nicholas Boulton, Kathryn Vinclare, Patrick Zeller, Marnye Young, Tara Langella, Jason Clark, John Hartley, Dryw McArthur and James Chetham, this high seas romantic adventure is the prequel to The Rebels and Redcoats Saga. Huzzah!
War is brewing between England and France. Impressed into the Royal Navy, Lieutenant Merrick, against all odds, advanced through the ranks to become an officer–but he is not a gentleman. A man with a tainted past from a traitorous family, cast down by King George–a stain no man can remove.
Merrick’s thrust into the role of captain, when the HMS Boudica is attacked by pirates off the coast of Nova Scotia. On a captured enemy vessel he discovers a King’s ransom in treasure and a woman chained in the hold from passenger ship that mysteriously disappeared at sea.
Beautiful, defiant, and hell bent on revenge, India makes a deal with Merrick to uncover the pirates’ scheme, promising him everything he desires: fortune, glory, and the chance to bring honor back to the McKesson name.
Now, they race against time to uncover a plot that links those in the highest ranks of the British aristocracy, to a failed rebellion that is once again trying to topple the monarchy and place an old pretender on the throne. But all that glitters is not gold as passions stir and an impossible love blooms, threatening to undermine all Merrick and India have done to protect their King and a country on the brink of war.

PAM OF BABYLON Pam of Babylon, #1 by Suzanne Jenkins Narrator: Marnye Young Length: 8 hours 37 minutes Released: June 28th 2021 Publisher: Audio Sorceress Genre: Contemporary Romance; Women's Fiction
The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . PAM OF BABYLON (Pam of Babylon, #1) . . . What goes through your mind when you find out that you were not all that special to the husband you have been married to? When you find out that you were just one of multiple women. When you find out that you were not enough. When you find out that you can find something more with the women you were replaced with. Pam finds revelations about her world when her husband decides to confess so many things that she did not know. There were so many things that were exposed. There were tears, laughs, secrets, truths, and something none of them expected.
Marnye Young was a new voice for narration. I found her voice warm, soothing, and relatable. She was able to pull of multiple feminine voices. She gave me a male that I was sure was male. I could feel the emotions that carried with the story.
I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Suzanne Jenkins. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

A Scene in Time by Jessica A. Clements
Adam, a Southern gentleman, knew the call to arms was near when President Lincoln asked for 100,000 men to stop secession and rebellion in the South. He joined the Union Cavalry – but not before he married his best, and only, friend.
Abby, an Irish immigrant that settled with her family in Virginia, was as Southern as you could get. When her husband announces that he had joined the Union cavalry, she couldn’t believe what she heard. She supported the decision of the one person that she loved more than the world itself.
As the war raged on, things weren’t always as they seemed. Abby’s sisters joined in the Southern cause, working to keep the way of life that the South had always had. Through grief, pain, and battles Abby keeps to the one place that she felt closest to her husband – the cottage that their families had given them.
A scene in time. An epic battle. And a tale of how love (through all of its forms) can transcend life and death.
The Book Junkie Reads . . . Review of . . . A SCENE IN TIME (The Wellesley.O'Brien Saga, #1) . . . For me this was more than the love of Adam and Abby. This was truly a saga. There were the ins and outs of both families, their love, their duty to family, land, and country. This was so much more than a single sit down listen and get that romance that we dream of. This was a battle, a loss, a struggle, a chance, something more. The story alone was good but the piece on top that made it more was the multiple narrators. Each bringing something extra to the story.

Rebels & Redcoats #2
Spy. Liar. Scoundrel. Redcoat.
Provocateur and spy for His Majesty, Captain John Carlisle returns to Fort Niagara with the secrets he stole in the arms of the beautiful Oneida innkeeper, Dellis McKesson. Determined to complete his mission and clear his name, he’ll see justice done—and damn the consequences. Now, he finds himself drawn into political intrigue as the British prepare to launch a three-pronged attack that will bring the Rebels and the Mohawk River Valley to its knees.
A dangerous revelation finds Dellis as whispers of intrigue insinuate her beloved is not all that he seems. Unwilling to wait for her lover’s return, she sets out in search of the truth as the Onieda begin negotiations with the Rebels, breaking the neutrality agreement with the crown. A bold move that will stoke a fire between the brother tribes and lead to a bloody inter-confederacy war—one Dellis predicted, and one John incited.
While war between the colonies and the King smolders, the punishing winter of 1777 allows the perfect opportunity for old enemies to settle scores, lying in wait, ready to exploit John’s one weakness—his heart. John is not an innocent man. The truth he’s long tried to hide from can no longer be ignored, the ghosts of the past seeking justice, and karma wanting payment for sins so dark they cannot be forgiven.

From my heart pounding out of my chest with the action scenes and knife’s edge suspense, to being on my knees in complete sobs over Mr. East’s and Ms. Langella’s moments voicing heartbreaking loss, pain, and love. The Saga that was once exciting words on a page became a true movie in my mind with these amazing actors melding into one amazing cast."- Suzi Vanderham
"I don't even know where to begin to tell you how much I love this book. I love The Tory, and was so excited when this was completed and in my ears. But it turned out to be even more than I can expect! Stories within stories, interwoven so not only are we captivated with the characters, but entranced with the intricate way each story builds and grows. Our main characters, Dellis, John, Delancie, and Celeste keep us on our toes."- Patty
